The
Gospels
The Heart of the Bible
At the heart of the Bible are four accounts that document the life of Jesus Christ. Literally meaning 'good news', the Gospels detail the life, teachings, and miracles of the Messiah, who came into the world to offer salvation for all who believe in Him.

Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus through the eyes of four different authors, each recounting His incredible life for their intended audience. Each section below provides context and background for a gospel account,
as well as three short commentaries on key events that occur within the account.

Written with the help of literature such as J.C Ryle's 'Expository Thoughts on the Gospels', the expositions aim to provide non-believers and Christian's alike with access to the truths of God's word and how to practically live them out. The full literature used to build each exposition is available for purchase and reading via the link below.
